Hi,

I am using asus GTX 560Ti with FX-8150.

and  planning to put another card on my motherboard. Will GTX 760 work well  or should I get a single better performing GPU.

Is CX-600 power supply enough for two GPU's ?

Thanks,

Get a single better gpu.

There's no point using the two in the system.

The psu is probably not enough to run well but it might boot.

The 760 would be a nice upgrade. I'd recommend getting a 7950 instead if you can find one.

Well you didn't mention your price range so idk.

The 7950 is generally cheaper than the 760 and performs better,

I can indeed! 1440p is a breeze with just one, smooth with 2 :D

The 560 Ti sli is not much faster than the 7950. I'd get the 7950 for more stable performance.

I upgraded to a 7970 from my 560 ti, and from my personal experience with the card i wouldn't recommend it. Performance is great but driver support and artifacts are really bad.

probablz much cheaper to get a use 560ti though.

He'd probably want a new psu if he wants to sli though.

600 Watt is possible with 2x 560Ti in SLI

A GTX 560 Ti only draws about 170 Watt.

Being a power hungry AMD system though, the headroom wouldn't be too big.

True. It's noise isn't a big issue, he could get another 560 ti for sli.

The 7950 should be within that price point.

Bangalore, India

Who knows how much stuff costs over there : /

7950 costs more than GTX 760 here. A new 7950 will easily cost me 400 $ here. Its always a better idea to get it from US if you have a friend returning back.

In that case, get the 760 if it's in your budget.
