Picking my first build

NorthLake

So I've already bought a GPU from a friend of mine who sold it for €50. I started to pick some parts around the GPU and this is what I ended up with: pcpartpicker.com/list/GBmXxY. (The GPU doesn't exactly match up, because I couldn't find it on pcpartpicker. It's a Club 3D Radeon HD 7870) I'm planning on trying GTA, but really not that much, I'm more of a puzzle/story gamer (like Portal). Outside of gaming I'm the person with 10-20 Chrome tabs open. My budget is around €600, so what I've picked would fit perfectly. I don't know whether I should try and sell the GPU for a better one, though. (Although that'd be kind of a bitchy thing to do to my friend)

this build would be more favourable

Thanks for the help, although I have two things to say:

1. Isn't 2*4GB better than 1*8GB of RAM?

2. I will need a motherboard that has WiFi, because I have no Ethernet in my room (Yes, I do accept the consequences)

1. The 1*8GB stick of RAM allows for additional stick of 8GB to be installed at a later date. Would benefit more value wise tbh.

2. As for the WiFi. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Q9N8nn the list was updated to include a Wireless adapter card that would take up a PCIE slot

Some people prefer a challenge, I just band my head against a wall until my method works...

That's actually a bit too edited... :P I'll place the WiFi adapter in my own build and I guess I'll buy it! I know I just missed black Friday, but would it be worth it to wait for a sale?

Sorry about the bit Too edited, added it to one of my builds by accident, The previous post has been updated with the proper link in its place if not here it is below,

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Q9N8nn

And on you question about waiting for a sale it depends if you want to.

As some parts my fall in price after Christmas but that can depend as some places increase their prices before the so call 'drop it'

So I wouldn't hurt to wait if your able to if you need the build soon try sourcing it to the lowest costing Legit seller.

This is a good list right here.

You do realize you are in the wrong currency and way overbudget right?

You do realize I don't care right? I'm giving my opinion and I believe if you want a great gaming experiences you need to spend more. The OP dos'nt have to do this, but he wants options, and i'm giving him one.

Not trying to say this in a mean way, but don't be a dick.

If you give OP recommendations that are completely out of their budget and pretty much useless to them, how does this help anyone? It sure doesn't help OP, so by doing this you're not helping anyone and instead might be confusing OP even more.

Again, not trying to be mean. Just stating this as a fact; if you're not gonna give a good recommendation then don't give one. I don't go on peripherals and audio and stuff to recommend stuff because I barely know anything when it comes to those subjects, so if I gave recommendations there all it would do is do harm.

Still UK prices not netherlands price :P

I know it could've been phrased better but I wasn't sure how else to do it without getting my point across.
