After seeing Jayz's video on the coolant, I am tempted to buy it now, but I went to see the price of it and it's really up there compared to most solutions on the market. I was wondering if one bottle of the solution was enough to fill my loop.

I have a CPU and a FC GTX 1070 block and a reservoir that takes 400ML to fill up.

I suspect one bottle will be fine for your system volume. Personally I'd hold out for another year or so before adopting the vue. While Jayz' video was appealing to most, I was deeply concerned about the "cleaning" phenomenon he described.

To me cleaning is the same as "rubbing" or "corroding" (taking layers off a surface) and so I would wait a while to see as more people buy it if there any problems with it.

Alright, have you looked at what the coolant is made up of?

I can't find an MSDS for it. Link me to it if you find it. Primochill has been historically the worst for documentation.

Vue has the following stated on any Vue product page under the `warnings` tab:

Quote

Vue has a HIGH attraction to dyes. It's possible that Vue may leach old dyes out of components that had previous dyed coolants ran through them (radiators in particular). No amount of flushing with water will remove all previous dyes. This may result in Vue changing color slightly. For best results flush your system with PrimoChill System ReBoot prior to using VUE in existing systems that contained dyed coolant.

That still doesn't make my mind at ease. How would a fluid be able to leach out old dyes? Either that stuff must do some sanding/scraping with it's nano particles or be slightly acidic at least in my opinion.

I guess we'll find out when people start putting out progress reports on the coolant in their system.

While I agree with the cautious "wait and see" approach being recommended, let me see if I can help you with this.

To answer this question, I would ask you how you filled your loop in the first place.

When I did mine, I got a bottle of concentrate from EK which became 1L of fluid for the loop.

It was just more than enough to fill my loop.

The Priochill Vue fluid is sold in bottles of 32oz. This is about 0.94 Liters.

For my loop, a single bottle of Vue will be just enough to fill my loop. Maybe my reservoir won't be as full but it should be enough.

So if you used much more than a liter's worth of fluid to fill your loop originally, then a single 32oz bottle of Vue won't be enough.
