PhysX and PubG?

So it has been a little over a year since we've seen the PhysX card get tested with games like Batman AK to see if they're still relevent today. I've got a STRIX 970 in my computer and I have no problems with pubg (despite its many problems), but I'm not satisfied. I want better. I want...more... so: it dawned on me after rewatching that video that perhaps it could be beneficial to have a PhysX card in my computer to deal with some of the many effects to perhaps take some off the load of my gpu. On the other hand, I may be an idiot. I would like to know either way.

Thank you my dearest, goodest sirs,

Ashzone

AFAIK, PUBG doesn't use any PhysX, so a dedicated PhysX card would be useless. Even with games that use PhysX a lot don't really benefit from a dedicated card.

PUBG doesn't use PhysX so putting a PhysX card in your system would be useless for that game. No game has made use of PhysX like Batman AK since AK.

PhysX is one of those sad technologies that could have become something interesting but, due to nvidia buying it out and it becoming exclusive no one really wants to bother developing for it :/ Especially since consoles can't even run it (amd gpus) so what's the point.

Not hating on Nvidia just one of those sad things that got buried the second it was bought.
