Firefox Quantum - Reducing Processes

So it was suggested that I go into the Performance setting and limit the number of processes to help keep Firefox under control. Great I thought. I went, changed it from the 4 it was set at, down to 1. I thought this would reduce the number running in the Task Manager, but it hasn't. I start it up, and it still opens 4 instances. Anyone know why? I've done everything short of restarting the laptop, but I don't think that'd really be necessary. I didn't have this problem with the last version of Firefox.

I would try FireFox but It doesnt have an extension I use.

It's ok but honestly nothing great. This, Chrome, makes little difference, especially now that they both hog resources.
