This is the correct way to put windows on an SSD:

Ok so I get the media tool and install it onto my SSD correct?

Yes. Make sure you unplug any other drives that currently have Windows installed otherwise the Boot Manager is going to get screwed

CPU: Intel Core i7 8700

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070

MOBO: ASUS Z370-F STRIX

RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2133MHz

Read the steps.

You run the tool and it puts windows on a USB drive.

You then use the USB drive to install windows on the SSD.

Remember to unplug your hard drive first, and delete all the partitions on the SSD like it says in the link.

Yes! I always forget this step and hate myself for it when I use my main rig to setup drives for other PCs.

Transcend - 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

It looks like Transcend has cloning software designed for their SSDs that might make the process very simple for you. I have not used it before but I've used the cloning software that Samsung provides on my Samsung SSDs many times with great results every time. We basically play musical SSDs/HDDs in my house, every time the wife gets an upgrade I get the leftovers and redistribute the drives between 3 laptops and 2 desktops, next week I inherit a 1TB Samsung 850EVO which is good because my 500GB is getting cramped.
