I wouldn't buy Razer products anymore.

People told me the same when I was getting a Deathadder Elite but, I didn't listen to them and got it anyway long story short I had this mouse for 3 months and it's already broken.

Sadly people were right about Razer's terrible build quality.

That's a pretty bad deal. Try and talk him down to $500 without any peripherals, or $650-$700 with all of them.
