So I have an i7 6700K. I was playing minecraft and I did a command with WorldEdit. All of a sudden it lagged, so I checked my CPU temps. It was up in the high 60s and low 70s. I have an AIO. I have no idea how that happened. What do y'all think happened?

70 degrees is fine. What were the temperatures before?

It is around 30 at idle, and now its in the 40s.

I meant when you were doing the same sort of task as when you saw the 70 degree temps

What's your AIO? Unless it's hitting 80 Celsius, don't worry. World edit is very cpu intensive (especially when editing large areas), as is minecraft itself.

Not exactly surprising to see temps spike up fairly high. Even with how overkill my AIO should be for my CPU, I can still pop into the low-70s during the winter and 75 during the summer.
