You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.

Ask me about Bitcoin, Litecoin, Crypto-Currencies, and/or Mining them.

Try gui scrypt miner. It's a very basic and limited miner, but should do well enough to get you started.

Fo real? Is it worth it?

Yep.

If ur smart, u would mine like crazy. Like right now. Before the difficulty increases. That way, u have a ton of litecoins then later on, when the price goes up. Bam instant millionaire.

jk about the millioniare part, but u WILL make money. I made $10 worth of bitcoins long long ago, took way to long and wasted my time. Now its worth $60-90...if only i didnt stop mining. Now its too hard to mine (difficulty increased like hell)

Luckily for you I had a 7870, albeit a oc ghz before the 7950's I have now, so that should help. If I remember right I could get somewhere in the range of 300-350 kHash mining ltc.

Do you have a bat file yet?

This is my START.bat file

color 02
cgminer --scrypt -o http://ltc.give-me-coins.com:3334 -u DyGr00339 -p opps --shaders 1280 --intensity 1 --worksize 128 -g 1

if you put the bat file in the same folder as cgminer, it should read something like this (at least mine does)

cgminer.exe --scrypt -o http://ltc.give-me-coins.com:3333 -u notaniel2010.worker1 -p (not telling) --intensity 13 --worksize 256

keep in mind that the worksize might be different for you, but you can try it since I seem to remember it working.

Also, have you made a worker on give-me-coins yet?

Is this correct?

yes, that appears to be correct

for -u you would just put DyGr00339.DyGr00339, edit: and the appropriate password for that worker

try removing the color and the shaders and g commands

I also just thought of this too, have you just opened cgminer by clicking on the cgminer.exe?

Towards the bottom of the folder, is there a file that says something like scrypt(assorted numbers).bin?

And have you already made the config file by opening cgminer, entering your pool info and hitting s+w?
