This is error info

I want to say that is from having some setting wrong, since iv'e run into that. On a different note I just found out that you don't need the bin file if you have the config file, so if you want I can try and type one up for you and see if that will work.

Main rig: Coursair Air 540, Amd 8120(stock clock, had it up to 4.6), Gigabyte 990 fx ud3,  MSI DCU2 r9 280x, seasonic 1000w platinum, Samsung 830 64 GB ssd, Seagate 1tb, 4 GB (2x2) G.Skill,

Secondary: Define r4, Amd A10 5800k(4.6), 1x Sapphire 7950, MSI FM2-A85xa, 8 GB coursair vengeance ram, Seasonic 1250w Gold, 500GB 840 Evo, 223GB 2.5 Hdd, 80 Gb Seasonic, Samsung CD/dvd

not sure what your using for overclock/fan speed, I personally use msi after burner so that's why some of the spots for engine and mem clock along with fan speed are blank below. I also remember that my 7870 was an absolute b*&%$ to get great settings on. You can try 925 core clock and 1375 mem clock. If it crashes just drop them down by 50 mhz, if it woks, bump it up slowly.

To make the config just open notepad, paste, save (first as normal just for a backup. Then save as, all file types, name it "cgminer.conf "

if it says max buffer or something you have to type "setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100", this will let it use more and get rid of that memory buffer error.

hopefully this works

It won't work, I have to call it a night, may hire someone... er... volentell someone to come set it up for me, thanks though!

Oh well, i'm sure you'll get it at some point, the 7870 is quite hard to set up

Luckily for you I had a 7870, albeit a oc ghz before the 7950's I have now, so that should help. If I remember right I could get somewhere in the range of 300-350 kHash mining ltc.

Do you have a bat file yet?

Only 300-350?

My 6950 gets 420....

U must have had bad settings..or the 7800 series was weird. IE the 7850 is worse than my 6950 in mining but not in gaming.

Folding for LTT since April 2016.

I don't know, that was about the best I could get out of it if I remember right. If I oc'd in any further it would crash(it didn't have the best board). But I sold it to a friend and now I have two better cards that oc further and are easier to get good settings with.

Just make sure in cgminer that u arent getting HW errors. That will fuck up ur GPU over time

I'm not now, not sure if I would if I pushed the oc too far as I haven't tried
