Nope.  You would have to do a clean install.

 

Like others suggest, stick with Windows 8 and just use a Start Menu replacement (the prettier, paid options being Start8 and StartIsBack).  It really is a nice improvement over Windows 7 once you get used to some of the quirks.

I had win 8 for a month or so, used startisback (would recommend looks great, runs well and has a lot of settings you can play with) but downgraded to win 7 (more of an upgrade) and it's like being back at home. Everything is just so nice, simple and easy. Would really recommend on going back to 7, in my opinion. Windows 8 is great on my surface, but is just not for desktops, like I say in my opinion.

Is it hard to use or is there any guides on it??

linus has a video on it i believe. and all you need to do is connect your ssd and then press transfer. its really simple.
