I've tried pretty much everything that I've seen on the internet and still can't fix it, so on win 10 Chrome when I goto a site that uses adobe (Speedtest.net doesn't even load adobe) it loads but the player is really garbage and stuttery and it's obnoxious and when I goto https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html it says Flash not enabled and it looks like this XAp4A5j.png and I've just been stuck I've uninstalled pepflashplayer from the chrome Appdata and reinstalled it but it still is disabled, and I've followed all of the guides and fixes on how to "enable" it and it won't work

Please @Dormant God or quote me if you want me to see your message/reply

Hi

Chrome does not use flash anymore, So you have give permission for flash to run

Correction -- Chrome does not run flash by default ........

Go to Chrome Control  ( tree point top right coner )

Go setting

Go advance

Go content setting

Go Flash

Allow web site .....

open this in your chrome browser and tell it not to ask first:

chrome://settings/content/flash

This PC just had Chrome installed today so its the newest version, flash works fine for me

Edit: I guess the options now are just block, and ask me first, try blocking flash, reloading chrome, and enable flash again.

What I am saying is by default flash in chrome is not enable you need to give permission

Once you give permission the site will find itself on the approve list of sites in Chrome setting. Each time you approve a site it will be added to the list and flash will always play on that site, without the need to give permission again.

If for any reason you want to stop a site from playing flash, if you gave permission, you will need to remove it from the approved list.

You can use Flash, it is still there, You just need to give permission for flash to work. Go to setting ,advance, privacy & security , content setting , flash, switch from block to ask first

I have 9pcs in this office and they all have the newest version of Chrome and they all are set to "ask me first" even my NAS which was imaged last night with clean windows is set to "ask me first" not disabled by default,  and if you read the OPs post I believe it's set to "ask me first" but still is the warning that it's not installed, especially since the OP said that they removed pepper flash by deleting it  out of the App data and something was broken.  Probably needs to nuke chrome and install again (removing all app data and registry settings and reinstall chrome)

I believe you are correct. Dormant Chrome may need to be reinstalled.
