How much better is an oculus than something like a 1440p high refresh gsync monitor

umm this question is a bit weird as the two are really not related. if you're going to use the ouc as a moniter, just dont a real monitor will bet better to get.

well again thats very different. VR gaming and monitor gaming are two different things and not every game is VR and if going to play a non VR game in VR its not a super joyful experience and its not in VR you're still looking at the game on a screen just in VR space.

No, because there are thousands of normal games and only dozens on vr

Get a monitor and a better GPU for the same price, you'll be much happier.
