Desktop or laptop?!?!?!

I found a Dell Optiplex with mouse keyboard and dual 17'' screens for $150 but for the same price an old Alienware laptop what should I get?

if the specs are the same and you don't care about mobility then maintenance and upgradability are the factors. If anything in the laptop dies it could be game over, while in a PC you can just replace it for a few minutes and be done with it....

as stated above if both internal specs are the same and you dont really care about mobility i would and you have the desk space for a pc then i would go with the desktop as it is easily upgradeale.  what are the specs ?? some desktop intel or amd chips have more cores that laptops

Are you going to be taking your computer along regularly? If so, laptop.

 

Is it going to spend most of its life on a desk? If so, desktop.
