Hello guys (and ladies),

My current mouse is reaching the end of it's life, it has served me well for the last three years. This is where I need your help!

What mouse should I get? Not interested in RGB. Looking for something ergonomic that is good for productivity, gaming performance is not really important as I rarely game. Would like something no more than £30 although I could go £40.

Something that fits well in your hand is the best suggestion I can make.

Go down to a local computer shop and try them all out. Buy the one that feels best

Try and find a deal on a G602 or G502 if you game at all. I got a G602 for $30 of Amazon (or maybe it was $50... anyways, less than the $80+ MSRP).

Have tried every shop near me. They only have Chinese ripoffs. Wasted £10 on one and one week later it stopped working. Luckily I didn't bin my old mouse.

I'd never buy a mouse sight unseen, but you would be hard pressed to go wrong with Logitech

Only used Logitech (expect for that Chinese mouse) and have not been disappointing. Personally I was looking at the G203 as it's fairly basic. I'll try to go to the next town tomorrow and check the stores there.

This.  I would go to any store that had the display mice out.  The Microsoft stores usually have a decent selection. Try them out; find what you like and what you don't.

It's actually how I decided not to get a G900; I needed a thumb rest for my giant hands

Stopped at Currys on my way back home and tried their selection. Have decided to save up and get the Logitech MX Master as it's extremely good. Thanks guys!

MX Master is awesome! Great for productivity (used it for 2 years in highly intense work environments) and it has served me well in a variety of strategy and RPG's.  Wouldn't recommend for competitive FPS though.
