OLED TV w/ Home Theater Audio

monjanger

For a friend, I am looking at a OLED TV and a possible surround sound system. I have pretty much settled on a 65 inch LG C7 TV,  but the speaker setup is more tricky. I originally was going to tell him to go with a Dolby Atmos soundbar and sub, but the room is too tall for that. The problem is, the wiring is pretty difficult in the area he is suggesting so I wanted a wireless solution. I stumbled across the Klipsch Reference Premiere HD Wireless setup, and I love the idea. But, the reviews are generally lacking? Any ideas?

If you're looking wireless, you can set up Sonos in a 5.1 surround using a playbar, sub, and two play:1 speakers for roughly $1800 (they sell a 5.1 bundle that includes all pieces).  This is the exact setup I am currently using and I am quite happy with it.

Definitely Sonos if you're looking to keep things minimal.

We use the Sonos Soundbar and Sub with our OLED TV and it sounds great.

And this is coming from our previous setup of 4x RT1000P polks, 120w/per channel, 400w sub, and a great center channel.
