My plan is to sell them since I don't need them anymore, but they'd be easier to sell and I could probably get quite a bit more if both speakers are working -- so if it's an easy fix then I'd just assume try it.

Yes, so - if you have a multi meter, go checking impedance along the line. If not, then sell it as is.

I didn't have a multimeter with me, so I couldn't really do much then; but for some strange reason it's now working again and I have absolutely no idea why....
