Upgrading from G930

I have an G930 and been using it over 4 years. I plan to keep it until it dies. I am not sure if I can get a noticeable difference when I change from my G930.

I'd like to get a recommendation for a new headset just in case. I can spend up to 400$ but I am not sure it would be worth spending that much.

I will primarily use it for gaming and music. I play every type of games: FPS, FTS, RPG etc. Not always competitively but there are games I play competitively (CS GO and SC2 for example)

I am not sure if I can get a good performance for both gaming and music listening with a single headset. Maybe I need one for gaming and one for music?

1.) What are your recommendations?
2.) Do I need a sound card as well? My G930 is connected via USB (so I did not bother getting a sound card). My X370 Taichi's on-board sound card is probably of "meh" quality.

i bought a corsair void wireless think i got it for like 79 usd and its been great i went through 3 of those logitech headsets before buying the corsair

I have the Logitech G933 as well, looking to upgrade. I have been doing research of my own, and I have come to find if you are spending that much money it is worth getting a professional headPHONE with a modmic or any other seperate microphone of your choice.

I believe that the Game Zero is a good option. Sennheiser puts the same drivers that they use in there studio and audiophile grade heasets. I just don't know how well the mic is.
