1080ti FTW3 Elite Gaming Worth it?

Hey guys,

 

Looking at 1080ti variants for my next gaming PC. I know that most AIB's perform *relatively* the same.

However, I am aware that the FTW3 Elite Gaming is advertised with 12 GHz VRAM. Is it worth the extra ~$50?
