Maybe you could save some money on the VR gear rather than on the PC. Because that build looks just about perfect in terms of value for money.

The Oculus Rift should cost less than 700€. The bundle with Touch controllers costs 449€, and a third sensor puts it at 518€.

oh lol vive i mean

Ohh okay.

Well, the Rift has some advantages and the Vive has some advantages. If they cost about the same it would be a tough choice. But the Rift is like 200€ cheaper now (or 300€ if you include the Vive headstrap upgrade). That's a lot of money when you're on a budget.

does the rift work  with steam games? I don't really know, last time I saw the oculus, u just needed to use the console controller. If that's still the case then I wouldn't get it instead of the vive.

Yep, it works with SteamVR. It also has motion controllers like the Vive, except the Oculus ones are actually better (that's why they took half a year longer to get released).

The base stations plug into a power socket instead of USB on the computer, which makes cabling easier, and avoids any USB issues. It also has a front-facing camera, a slightly wider field of view, and brighter screens. The headset cables are also a little longer, so less chance of needing extensions to use a larger play area.

On the other side, the Oculus Rift has better controllers, a more comfortable and convenient headstrap with integrated audio (you can buy a very similar headstrap as an upgrade for the Vive, but it costs 120€), slightly higher pixel density (sharper picture), better contrast, and runs better on weaker PCs due to the ASW software feature.

So my feelings showed up and what VR headset do you want now
