DELL Insipron laptop issues

I have a dell laptop (model number is P17E) and it has windows 10 on it. I regularly boot Linux from an external drive no problem. Well this morning I went to boot back in windows, I always boot from UEFI secure boot, and it said automatic repairs. Weird, but okay and then it didn't boot it just had a window saying "windows defender offline" so I turned it off and it boots fine without secure boot on but is there an issue with a file now? I'm sort of worried now about my laptop..
