I might making a new simulation pc for racing, space and flight simulation or another mainstream gaming pc, whichever seems better. This one is the simulator, which I plan for the future (though my final decision may vary).
These are my specs for the simulation pc:
-AMD Threadripper 1950X
-ASUS ROG Zenith Extreme
-G.Skill TridentZ RGB 64GB (4×8GB)  3200MHzmemory
-2×Samsung 960 Pro 512GB (OS Drive) in Raid 0
-Samsung 850 Pro 4TB (Game Drive)
-Custom water-cooling with Phanteks blocks for CPU/motherboard and GPU, connected via EKWB reservoir and pump and acrylic tubes
-Cooled via EK fluid and InWin fans mounted on EK radiators
-Phanteks RGB LED strips for extra beauty
-Lian Li PC-O11 ROG edition
-2× EVGA Supernova 1600W 80+ Plus Titanium Power Supply

-10TB Seagate Barracuda HDD for system backup

I'll go with 3 AMD Vega 64 graphics card in Crossfire. I went with AMD because they allow up to 4-way Crossfire which turns out good for multi monitor setups. Each one has 3 DisplayPort ports, so if I connect two monitors to each, FreeSync will be live.
Now comes the simulation part:
These are the different monitor setups I came up with-
(Note: All monitors have FreeSync)
-24,883,200 pixels=6×Samsung 49" CHG90 (QLED, HDR, VA panel, Quantum Dot, 144Hz refresh rate)
The problem in this are the bezels. Too big for such a premium monitor. I'll connect 2 monitors to one GPU in this case.


-14,860,800 pixels=3×Samsung 34" C34F791(HDR, VA panel, Quantum Dot, 100Hz refresh rate)
No problem with the bezels. However, lack good HDR and QLED, as well as FreeSync 2. Although HDR on monitors are not very good, and FreeSync 2 only helps with HDR. QLED is also a dummy. I'll connect 1 monitors to one GPU in this case.

I'm in major favour of the last setup, but so many pixels will be insanely difficult to run. The first one has thick bezels, but is way wider and more immersive. The middle one is good, but still is not vertically taller, so that's a drawback. One reason going for ultrawide is because they pack high resolution with high refresh rate, and I'm not going for TVs because they have terrible input lag.

I'll be using VESA mounts on a wooden frame. I'll make 3 different setups for each kind of simulation. They'll be heavy, but I'll make the wooden frame movable, so no problem there.
Just want your suggestions into which setup to use.

1080 verticaly is limiting a bit, and if you have the money for it go for it (last one),

i have an amd card with 2 monitors, so i went and checked, and if needed you can run the screens as if they were lower res (for better perf in games) so having the 1440p monitors would be a good choice even if you can't 100% power them right now (don't know if its the case or not, will probably depend if the games support crossfire)

You're also spending more money than you need to on the threadripper setup.  That's overkill.

It's threadripper for the PCIe lanes.

I can even go around with a 1920X.

Plus 3 GPUs are there so I can run many monitors at same performance. AMD cards for 3-way Crossfire.

Well you might say multi-monitor are the past, but it's still real estate. And as a person just getting into the sim-racing world of gaming, it's a wonder and dream for me. Thought I should invest in it. Even my dad wants to drive a multi-million dollar car, which atleast we can't afford. (A million dollars for a car, are you serious?!)

Yeah, but for less money than most people spend on 3 nice monitors you can get a Rift, and then have WAAY more real estate, and more immersion.  I never said multi monitor is bad, but for what you spend its not the best way to experience sim racing anymore.  

 

Also, look into tactile transducers for rumble effects.

Im pretty sure amd killed more than 2 GPU's in the transition from crossfire to m-GPU
