Can't pin progrmes to taskbar?

Hi, I can't pin any of my programs to the taskbar and need help to fix it. What can I do to fix it?

Is there anything pinned to the taskbar already internet explorer ect do you have room on the taskbar, if task bar full it wont let you pin anything

There also a work around, an Old Skool windows 98 way : create a folder called " C:\shortcuts" and put what ever programs short cuts you want in there, then right click on toolbar, go to tool bar tab then new toolbar and add the folder with "C:\shortcuts" and all the shortcuts in the folder will appear on the taskbar (including the program icon pictures). If you want to add more short cuts, just place them in that folder, and they will appear on the task bar as well :)

You can customise text displayed, locked, unlocked and move it up and down the task bar as you see fit

Hi, can't pin any of my program on the taskbar. Started the PC on sunday and the taskbar and all password was cleared.

If it helps, I am using another new admin user and I can pin things on the taskbar on this admin user.. :P

Ok, so the task bar is there, but no items are available, and you can't pin anything.

Did you use any tweak software of any kind in Windows at some point? They usually tend to break Windows.

You have 2 choices:

-> You can make a new user account, transfer your stuff between the 2 accounts, and delete the old one.

For Windows 8: Open the system properties panel and click on System Restore:

Programs work, only problem is that i can't pin them. System restore is gone after instaling new anti-virus in a try to fix it.

Have to install windows again.. :p

Are you sure you installed a real anti-virus and not a malware? lol

AVG and Avast is totaly virus...
