Hello, I am building my own desk pc for a project and I need a lot of help.

I need to build my own chassis and my option is to use tubular metal. Is it a good option? If so, what cooling system should I use?

I would really appreciate your help.

thank you!

I took the "backplate" out of an old junky computer case. Where you would mount the motherboard onto. Has all the spacings and mounting points. (I also managed to get the "card slots holder" out of that donor case. If you would do the same thing, you have an very nice starting point. You could even grind the corners of this backplate, so it's hidden behind the motherboard itself. Then it's up to you how you would fix this backplate to your desk.

So it's a good idea to use metal as a desk pc chassis?
