Hey everyone :D

im looking for a  cooler for my gtx 1080 gigabyte g1. is there any around? i looked at this arounf 11 months ago but nothing was fully supported. has that changed?

I want a better cooler because my fans hit 40-50% and start making alot of noise sounds like a airplane is taking off

thanks in advance

Dan

Arctic cooling makes some:

I have a cue light I can use to show you when I’m joking, if you like.

Sorry for the late reply--had this tab left open for a while.

An Accelero Twin Turbo or Xtreme should do well.

A more DIY option would be to ziptie case fans onto the original heatsink which may be cheaper or quieter depending on the fans.

With pwm fans, you can control them from the fan header on the graphics card.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/GELID-Silent-PWM-Fan-Adaptor/dp/B005ZKZEQA/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1510303404&sr=1-2&keywords=vga+pwm+adapter

NF-F12's are a good option if you want to go this route: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Noctua-NF-F12PWM-Case-Fan-120/dp/B00650P2ZC/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1510303394&sr=1-1&keywords=nf-f12&dpID=41vDjEC56iL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
