RAM upgrade

Hello

 

Guys Im kinda newb to, heres the thing.

I need ur advice or tips.. Ive just upgraded from 2x4gb hyper x beast to 2x8gb hyper x fury ram..

 

(Hyperx beast 1600 CL9 2x4)

(Hyperx fury 1600 CL10 2x8)

 

So right now i have the 2x8gb plug in and the 2x4gb just lying around. Im thinking of adding/mixing the 2x4gb to the current setup.. will it work? If it works, is it a worthy addon or im better off with 16gb?

 

Whats your Recommendations for better performance, 2x8 + 2x4 or just 2x8?

What motherboard? It is possible, just make sure that in you BOIS it is running at its' intended speed.

Do you really need 24GB of RAM? I'd just sell the 8GB and buy some pizza.

well as long as its running at 1600mhz and have 24GB of RAM read in task manager you should be good to go.
