so, i am in the middle of installing my new GPU and RAM and i have hit a slight snag. I did have two fans on my cpu cooler but one of them has caused the casing around one of the ram cards to bend and come apart a little, so now i am left with 1 fan for the cpu.

would it be best to rotate the remaining cpu fan to blow air through the cooling fins, or leave it and see if it pulls enough air through to keep it cool? if i rotate it, won't it jut blow hot air through the fins?

I would want it pushing air through the cooler. You could always mount it so that the cooler is facing the other way up, so that the fan is pushing air up through the cooler to the top of the case.

Only other thing I can suggest it modifying the RAM.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

I’d put it on the CPU cooler to blow air thru it and out the back of the case. Maybe dust it a little too?

i cant put the fan on the other side of the cooler due to the ram getting in the way, i would have to blow to the front of the case the circulate back around unless i change to exhaust out the front of the case.

I dusted it out last week, we have a big problem with dust in our house for some reason. there will be a thin layer of dust on anything in my room a couple of days after cleaning it all.

do you think one stick would be okay without the casing?  it has already peeled apart and didnt seem to effect anything

Ignore what I just said, it looks like a 212 eve, so just mount the fan higher up like @seon123 suggested.

Just mount the fan higher up on the cooler, then. The Evolv ATX has plenty of room
