So, the iPhone X came out yesterday (3rd November) and it reminded me of some security statistics featured in Apple’s 2017 Keynote. Essentially, 1 in around 500,000 people are able to unlock an iPhone with Touch ID. This means there is a 1 in 500,000 chance someone can get into your iPhone that has Touch ID. But, as we know, the iPhone X doesn’t have Touch ID, it has Face ID. The stats for this new technology is 1 in around 1,000,000 people can unlock an iPhone with Face ID. This means there is a 1 in 1,000,000 chance someone can get into your iPhone that has Face ID.
