So, question for anyone who can answer. If we have our floatplane accounts, is there a plan to integrate that with the floatplane.com site, or do we need another account there as well as what we have here?

Furthermore, since I buy floatplane annually, and it is just about to renew, how will that carry over to the official site? If one of @LinusTech @Slick @nicklmg could follow up on this, that'd be splendid. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick response :)

So this all sounds good, and the more seamless the transition the better. The only concern I'd really have then is what kyle mentioned in his video (being grandfathered in to one price). Will that be available to those of us who wait to avoid any payment or account migration troubles? Because that would be splendid to have available.

Thanks again

FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND you'll be given the relevant information with more than enough time to make the decision that makes the most sense to you. I wish I could say more but it's really not my place to make those sorts of announcements RE: Floatplane :)

The people who are on Floatplane now - especially those that signed up for a year on day one (though i don't play favorites :) ) - y'all are the homies. You are what makes this platform what it is. We'll make sure you're taken care of.

No worries. Thanks for the help. Guess i can breathe a little easier now :)

RE: Payment, it will carry over, but we'll also have a bunch of new options "soon (TM)" so if you'd prefer to use something other than PayPal it may be best to hold off until those are announced. I don't think we're really speaking publicly about what those options will be just yet, so I'll keep my lips zipped for now :)

Looks to me that they'll be using Stripe for payments.

Spoiler
