hi everyone about 3 months ago i was a console gamer and i made the jump to building my first system, consists of an:

cpu: i7 7700k

mb: Asus Strix Z270E

AIO: nzxt X42

ram: G.skill trident Z 16gb rgb ram

storage: 275 gb cruicial ssd & a 4T hdd

gpu: gtx 1080 ftw

psu: evga supernova G2 750 watt (will be upgrading)

case: corsair 400c

iv'e become such a pc junkie that i want to build a super awesome hardline water cooling loop

the only two parts i know i want are ASUS ROG Poseidon 1080 Ti (it looks awesome to me) and the EK-FB Asus Z270E rgb monoblock.

i know i cant go any bigger than a 240mm radiator on the top and a 360mm radiator on the front. But I have no idea what radiators to get what tubes, reservoir, pump and what fittings to get, if i can get any tips on what parts to get it would be awesome and i am also a bit confused about the loop stuff

If you want any information about custom water cooling then JayzTwoCents is where you'll get it from.

I am planning on eventually doing a custom loop (Once I find how to get parts in the country I live in, options are limited) and I own the same case. I would suggest a Pump+res combo with a fan mount. Also, as far as I'm aware, the usual radiators go 120mm per part + 120mm per part overclocked (so for example 2 240s if you wanted to go with cpu and gpu overclocked).

Most important factor would be that you don't mix metals or you'll get corrosion.

I'd suggest checking out the EKWB kits, they seem pretty good to get started

Frostbite (White build PC)

Spoiler

MSI B350M Mortar Arctic - Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 GHz - Corsair H60 - ASUS GTX 1060 3GB DUAL OC @ (2130 MHz Core Clock + 4600 MHz Mem Clock)

2x8GB 3200MHz Corsair Vengeance C16 Corsair 400C White - EVGA 650 GQ

Razer Deathadder Chroma - Razer Blackwidow Tournament Edition Chroma - Sennheiser HD 598 SR - LG 24MP59G-P

Argentina. We had a lot of problems with imports until recently, and prices are still a nightmare for most things.

okk googling him now

Do take note those kits from ekfluidgaming.com are made of aluminium parts. Expansion is possible but only with other aluminium components and switching to hardline tubing is going to be expensive as you can only get EK's aluminium hardline fittings through their multi-GPU connector kit.

I would suggest to take a look at these kits:

https://www.ekwb.com/shop/kits

All of these kits use copper blocks, copper radiators and brass fittings. There's much more on the market available that is made from these materials. Also with these kits you can safely use nickel plated blocks which, in my opinion, with a clear plexi top look amazing.

I can highly recommend the P series as these have a D5 pump included. The D5 is a strong, reliable and silent pump.

JayzTwoCents has a nice beginners guide to start with:

CPU: i7-12700KF Grill Plate Edition // MOBO: Asus Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 // RAM: 16GB G.Skill Trident Z 3200MHz CL14

GPU: MSI GTX 1080 FE // PSU: Corsair RM750i // CASE: Thermaltake Core X71 // BOOT: Samsung Evo 960 500GB

STORAGE: WD PC SN530 512GB + Samsung Evo 860 500GB // COOLING: Full custom loop // DISPLAY: LG 34UC89G-B
