Please elaborate. Your monitor is blinking a lot? Your computer is feeling sluggish?

Maybe check your drivers. What is your system.

Why do you have two posts for this?

Maybe your overclock at 5GHz is causing issues. Try to reduce your overclock until you get to a stable system.

Your profile says that your 7700k is sitting at 5GHz.

Ah okay. Well with the new Windows Model, you don't really have a choice in whether or not you can update. Your best bet is to start troubleshooting, first put everything to stock then work from there. The blinking/flashing of a screen tells me it is a graphics card issue, so that is a good place to start.

Then the update gets rolled back and you'll get it again on the next Update Tuesday.

You'll need to take that up with Microsoft and report it to them with some definitive documentation that proves it was their update and not one of the many many other factors it could have been. You need to either take it to a professional or troubleshoot it yourself. Seeing as you are an advanced enough user to build your own custom loop, this should be a simple task.

Seriously though, try working with Microsoft support. You should start doing basic troubleshooting and document all of your steps as you go along. Make sure that your steps are small and reversible.

Try rolling back the update first then get back to us.
