So iḿ planning to eventually buy the ryzen 5 1600x and for it, I really want to get this cooler but it only supports all the Intel sockets and ryzen sockets up to am3+ so I'm planning on modifying the bracket and just bending it a little bit. Are there any problems with this? Any answers are much appreciated.

it has removable brackets so I have some headroom.

Yeah, i was looking at that, but you just can beat that $33 price tag of the other cooler.

True, but you can't return a cooler you damaged and there's a decent chance you'll modify it in a way that it wont make proper contact with the chip.

my vriend bought it for AM3 it has a AM4 compatible braket now. but I also wouldn't recommend a 120mm AIO Aircooler is better here or a better AIO
