So hello people, I am looking for a little input on this new build i'm planning.

A am 14 years of age (Turning 15 soon) and I am looking for a high end build, I have parted out a build and I was wondering if I should change anything or if there is anything I should know. I have a budget of around 2.5k AUD and I want to get this around the new year. I already have a GTX 1070 and i5 4690k which I wanted to only upgrade the CPU etc but I figured I should just get a new system and enjoy the thrill of building a new PC.

GPU: Gigabyte AORUS GTX 1080ti

CPU: i5 8600k

MOBO: Gigabyte AORUS Ultra Gaming

Cooler: NZXT Kraken x52

PSU: Gigabyte B700H

Case: NZXT S340 Elite

RAM: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB 3000mhz

HDD/SSD: I already have a 500GB ssd and 2TB hdd

edit: forgot the mobo rip

and about the build, why are you even upgrading? i mean, if games works well why would you want to upgrade? or at least get some 4k monitor or peripheals first

First Question: I'm from Australia and it really depends on where you work, see at a café you can really work from about 12 and it way be hard to get employed at that age but to work in fast food, retail etc around 14/15+

Second Question: well one reason is my friend wants to buy a computer but cant really afford it so I am going to sell him my current PC for cheap, second reason is I just want to build another PC I have had this GPU for around and year and the rest for about 2 or 3 years and finally I just want a system which will do anything I really want to do.

PSU doesn't look very good. Looking at PCPP prices, something like the Focus Plus Gold or RMx 550-650W would be way more sensible. Other than that, you might be able to get an 8700K into the budget, if you prioritised differently.

Well I will definitely be looking into the PSU but I did look into the 8700k but for an extra $200 I don't see much of a performance difference in any gaming benchmarks. also what I change to get that extra $200?

Better performance for anything that isn't gaming. If you decide your PC for a few years, the extra threads should see a bigger benefit in games. And it should be able to keep up with future, faster GPUs better than the 8600K.

I just had a look at some PSU's but I have just seen the XFX XTR Series gold 650w and that doesn't seem that bad.

The PSU tier list puts it a tier 2. For a 1080 Ti, a 550W is plenty, no reason to pay a premium for a 650W.

Sorry forgot to put the Z370 so the MOBO

There is no Xtreme Z370 board. Only the Aorus Ultra Gaming, Gaming WiFi, Gaming 5, Gaming 7, Gaming K3, and Gaming 3. The Ultra has issues with the VRM running fairly hot, even at stock, and I don't think the higher end ones will be that much better.
