Cold Air Intake for a 2009 2.5 Altima?

Hello

 

I have an 2009 4-Cylinder 2.5L Nissan Altima and I'm planning on putting a cold air intake on it and maybe a custom manifold, will it effect oil or fuel economy?

I can't say whether it'll help your oil efficiency or not (likely no), but cold air intakes can increase fuel efficiency. But only if the air from your regular intake isn't as cold as it can be. There's a limit where a cold air intake won't help anymore if the stock intake is already decent.

 

You may want to check with Altima owners on a Nissan forum (Maybe there are some owners here, but I doubt enough to get a good sample size).
