my laptop turns off when i use the touch screen.

From late last week when ever i use my touch screen my laptop will fade and turn off.

What did i do to cause this and how can i stop it?

you can try a system restore to a point when it was working to see if it's software related.

that sounds like a good idea. however i haven't used the laptop for about a month anyways (i will try it anyway)

not really a laptop is it :P 

 

anyway, you could try a restore point, virus scan, and you could check the Event Viewer in Windows to check for any critical errors.
