BENQ xl2411t really bad colours

Will01

I recently got this monitor for its 144hz capabilities on my tiny budget. I'm really happy with the 144hz but the colours are complete trash. Even compared to my $150 samsung curved 24", this samsung blows it out of the water with ease. The colours on my benq are just so flushed out and sort of blurred. anyone know the best settings on the monitor itself and the driver thing you can install within windows. thanks very much.

that's because the benq has a TN panel and the samsung probably a PLS or VA panel

you can try changing settings with the monitor menu, other than that i don't know of a way to improve the color accuracy

No amount of switching settings will get it to look anywhere near as vibrant as the Samsung because the BenQ uses a lower end TN panel that just can't reproduce those colors
