whats the difference between 1050ti and a non ti

Twice the gddr5 memory, an extra streaming multi-processor, 128 more cuda cores, 8 more texture units.

Its just a better card all around but you pay for it.  but with 2x the memory and more cuda cores it will last longer than the non ti

Do you have enough budget to do a full rebuild?

This. If you don't, upgrade the GPU to a GTX 1050 or 1050 Ti, because the GT 730 sucks.

just save up tell you can but an entire new system no point in buying a good gpu for your cpu just to bottle neck it

unless you planned on getting something like a 750 ti

Not knowing your budget I would say get gpu first 1050ti maybe 1060 if you can swing it.  Next you could get a used I7 860 or 870. Then check at upgrading your ram to the fastest speed and at least 8gb for gaming, preferably 2x4gb to run in dual channel.

ok I have 8GB of DDR3 RAM

and are AMD cpu's any good

The Ryzen cpus are nice, but idk about the fx series.

Edit: You'll also need ddr4 ram to use Ryzen.

Good is a relative term.  depends again on your budget? and the games you are wanting to play at what resolution? and what graphical settings?

AMD cpu's are not compatible with your motherboard.  It would not be recommended to buy older AMD cpu motherboard combos.  AMD's Ryzen is a "good" budget option but again you will be purchasing cpu, motherboard and ram.

I dont mind getting a new mobo

And RAM, with a new build you will need ddr4.

Should I get AMD or Intel

AMD best for budget builds / Intel best for pure gaming performance. . . generally speaking

also Should I get AMD or Nvidia GPU

Nvidia generally  as AMD prices are still over bloated.

Again everything all depends on your budget which you still have yet to state.  So any advice given can only be based on speculation.

my budget is a little low right now around $100-200

I would buy the least expensive gtx 1050ti you can find at the moment.  Then try to sell your i5 and use that money + the left over from the gtx and purchase a i7 870 or 860 or save for a cpu motherboard ram combo at that point you can plug in the 1050ti to your new board.  Don't overlook your PSU and HDD also for an upgrade.  You don't want to start spending $ and have a sub-par psu go bad and fry your new parts.

Twice the gddr5 memory, an extra streaming multi-processor, 128 more cuda cores, 8 more texture units.

Its just a better card all around but you pay for it.  but with 2x the memory and more cuda cores it will last longer than the non ti
