Program Refusing To Install

Hello,

 

I have a family member who is struggling to install Microsoft Office 2016 and Kaspersky Total Security 2017, yet whenever he clicks on the .exe installer, a dialog box opens that tells us that "Windows cannot find C:\users\fannono\downloads\X17-75236.exe" (that is the location of the .exe he clicks), yet we just clicked on the referenced file. How can we make it work?

 

(and no, I don't like Comic Sans, I just love to annoy others with it)

Move the installer file to somewhere else, like C:\tempdir, and try to run it. It is fails, then the file is possibly damaged (I've seen that before with downloaded large files)
