Folder Names Are In The Left Side

I Installed something but I already removed it, then I realized that "every" folder in my PC has its folder name in the left side of it, how do I fix this? I tried restoring the folder settings to default but nothing changed, I also restarded my PC many times but it didn't do anything, can someone help me please?

Have you tried a virus scan? If that doesn't work try a system restore to before you installed the program.

Reset? But I would lose my files and stuff right?

without knowing what exactly you installed, unlikely

Unless you "reset this PC" if you are on windows 10.

Was about to suggest the same thing, you can choose to keep folders, files etc but will have to re-install all your programs/games

You cant trust anyone on the internet, I would NEVER download some random registry file without checking it out first.

Well, in that case then like downloading simple images and anything like that is actually dangerous yeah. You have to just try things, because you can't always solve things without help from the internet

This is not a registry change.. this is a DLL file that was modified.

As you said you didn't have System Restore enabled. I would backup your stuff, and give your luck by upgrading your version of Windows to the same one (yes you can do this, Windows allows you to do this). Or, if you don't want to take the chance of loosing time by it failing due to something else or because or it, just do a clean install right away.

You can take this chance to make sure your system UEFI (if you have one) is properly configured, backup your stuff and do some house cleaning through your stuff in your compy.
