So I'm in the process of deciding a build as my current PC is nearly 5 years old and has and I3 2100. I have already got a 1TB HDD and a GTX 1050Ti for the build but am unsure with the rest. My budget is around $1000/£800 for the rest of the build, and below is the current build specs I have come up with and their amazon links respectively:

There is no reason at all to get a locked Kaby Lake I5. I would change it to this. If the budget doesn't include the GPU, you could go for something like the 8400. What will you do with the PC?

Hi there VexD :)

I bought my PC 6 months ago doing a very deep research on the web about every single part of it.

So you can look it up in my profile and then changing the box, the cpu and the graphic card to lower the price.

I would recommend to sport a good 1060 in that budget (since a 1070 would go out of range or you would need to take it out from the rest of the peripherals) and a good i5 - K with possibilities to overclock (K means that you can overclock it)

And if you want a personal opinion about the graphic card. I would just wait and save a couple of months, add some money to the budget and take a 1070. Is hands down the best card price/quality on the market right now (and for such you could also wait to the 1070ti releasing so they will down the price on the normal 1070)
