7900x - 2 less cores with skylake (6th gen) IPC, maxes out at 5.3+ghz

Both will be high, a 7900x at 5ghz will take way more than any TR4 chip though.

Threadripper does not have Skylake IPC... saying that it does would be an inherent falsehood.

well seeing as the 7900x is skylake x id imagine ot has the same ipc as skylake or similar

zen has pretty bad ipc tbf, its only advantage is that it has more cores for the same price

adobe rendering? what programs? if its adobe, the 7900x is a better chip, anything else(for the most part, the 1920x will be better)

other software that im using is vray but most of them on 3dsmax
