I was thinking about $750 would be more than fair given the slight time and degradation and given the fact that the AM4 platform will more than likely be used for the next few years.

umm 289 not 829...

I think you could get more than $750, easily $850 to $900.

$750 is fair... I reckon you could go higher if you wanted to.

But that $829 R7 1700 did confuse me...

I am selling my old PC that I built back in April this year and would like the opinion of fellow techies as to what I should sell it for.  I was thinking about $750 would be more than fair given the slight time and degradation and given the fact that the AM4 platform will more than likely be used for the next few years.

Not sure what the used pc market is like in your area but you could easily ask $1000 and negotiate if some makes a lower offer. Its only 6 months old and the buy brand new is $1300. $750 is certainly more then fair though and would likely lead to a quick sale

$750 might even be a bit on the cheap side. This is still relatively new so I'd value it at at least $800, maybe even $900.

$650 is a lowball offer, definitely not a good price.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

I should also mention that I used this PC for maybe 4 months before I built another one For gaming with a 7700K.  It doesn't even have six months of use on it.

that means you can charge more by adding "GAMING/WORKSTATION/EDITING/STREAMING PC" in all the listing titles. And you wouldn't be lying either.

If you kept all your original boxes and paperwork that just a bonus since the new owner has that extra assurance of being able to access the manufacture warranty on the hardware.  Its basically new and you "burnt it in".  Asking fro $1000 or best offer is your best bet I would say.
