Ryzen CPUs memory support, will it still function

Hello guys,

It's my first time posting in linus tech tips forum. I was just wondering, if you would build a Ryzen Pc would the RAM be an issue. I mean if the mobo that you've chosen doesn't support the memory that you pick in the mobo's website will it still work? Because I'm aiming to build a kinda streaming rig that could also render things, that's why I would like to know if there would be an issue when it comes to picking RAM. Thank you guys in advance on looking unto my problem.

Thanks for your reply but, what about if the mobo doesn't specifically supports the memory that you'll buy. Will it still work? I mean if it doesn't list in the supported memory in the mobo's website will it function?
