Hey guys,

So I'm relatively new to system building and was wondering if anyone would be able to have a look at this build I created. It's currently at $1868.99 and I'd like to keep it at this price or less. If anyone would be able to suggest any changes to improve it or do the same job but cheaper that would be greatly appreciated. (From Australia, btw).

Thanks,

Luke

I think that's a good build altogether, I would just also get a 3.5" hard drive for mass storage, and change that 120 AIO cooler to an air cooler, as a medium sized one will perform a bit better than what you have there, or get a 240mm rad over a 120mm. An optional air cooler that would be a good buy is the Cryorig H5 Universal.

Other than that it will be a solid system, although you may have to wait a bit for that i5-8600k to become available.

Good point. Well, most people don’t really overclock since

A. They don’t know how.

B. The motherboard doesn’t support overclocking.

But a good idea to buy some.

So basically the build I made him. And saved him 10$ And got him a gtx 1080. Lol

In this scenario he/she would have the chipset to OC and the motherboard.

I mentioned the Cryorig H5 Universal cooler instead, which comes with a rather big tube of thermal paste that would last multiple applications so there would be no need to purchase more thermal paste.
