Posted October 22, 2017 I am looking to replace Logmein. They have gotten alot more expensive and after reviewing how i use them i think i can use any of the other ones without a problem. What i need: Remote access to different servers, they all run Windows. Just control, no need for file transfer or anything like that. 1 connection at a time. No port setup, picked logmein because it work everywhere i installed it without needing any firewall adjustments. No need to have anyone present at the server, if in the case of a reboot Now i have already found a few, and was wondering about your experience with them: Teamviewer No option to buy a 1 time license but 31,90 Euro per month While that is limited to 1 user, i can install endless endpoints. Which is how it will be used in our case anyway. Anydesk Lite Old Teamviewer people i believe, 290 Euro 1 time licence or 60 Euro yearly. Comes with 1 endpoint and each extra will cost 20 Euro. Pro is not needed as we do not have that many servers to control. I was thinking about chrome desktop, but i dont think it will be able to log in after a reboot? Maybe its the sleeper solution but i doubt that. Any others i missed? Posted October 22, 2017 Custom made RAT file? It knows to be used as take control of unexpected users but it actually not bad remote desktop tool. It doesn't require any third party server to forward the request, but just your desktop/home WAN. It is completely free if you know a bit of coding or you could buy a premade one from other forums for a few bucks. Magical Pineapples
