I’m currently watching SYW and was wondering whats better a 1080 or a 980ti in sli

well a 1080 will provide full performance in all the things, 980ti sli will only provide full performance in things that scale well with sli, in things that don't you run it on a single 980ti and of course a 1080 is better than a 980ti

While in SYW they got a *slight* performance increase in some games with the 980ti sli setup, it should be noted that the 1080 as a single card was very close behind and sometimes better. Overall if you have a choice the 1080 is the smart decision as it is much more efficient and potentially leaves room for expansion in the future.
