Why do you want to upgrade and what do you hope to get out of the upgrade?

Why just 1070 to 1080? Why not 1080Ti?

If money's not a problem - why not do everything?

But as a person who's aware of budget, I'd say hold off on the upgrade. You'll see gains, but unless you need to upgrade, I wouldn't.

I don't think an upgrade to a 1080 would be worth it.
