GPU Pricing

Aidan Hartline

I have been planning on building a new system and selling my old one (The one im using now), but I am being completely screwed over because I cant find any reasonably priced GPU's. The only current Viable Option out there I think is the 1050ti. And all the AMD Cards are jacked way up because I would have gone with a 570 if the price wasn't screwed all the way up or maybe even a 580. So my question being, When is it expected for the GPU prices to drop? Plus Coffee Lake came out and so now there are even more options.

Get a 290x, it's 1060/580 performance at a reasonable price (sub 200)

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

apart from it being disgustingly power hungry under load.  i agree, that match the 1060 and 580 very closely give or take in performance numbers but the amount of power a 290X or a 390 consumes is terrible.  i used to owned a 390 (non X) and it demands at least 350 watts to itself under full tilt.  so a bare min power supply is like 600 watts bronze.

right now thanks to miners, to get a card a a reasonable price, you are looking at used and 4GB cards.
