Ethernet is bad

Hello dear people.

My ethernet is shit and I can't even play CSGO. The only thing that works is programs like discord and chrome.

I was wondering if there's a product I can buy to simply get better connection.

What's your internet setup? Please include modems, switches, and AP. 

 

You're going to have to find where along the line you're dropping by either running a ping test or traceroute and seeing how long it takes for your signal to go and come back.

But before that, run a speedtest (speedtest.net) and upload the results, and provide your network setup info like ARikozuM said.

Ok i'm having a very hard time finding those, but the ping test:

Ping: 39ms downloadspeed: 9.88 Mbps uploadspeed: 0.81 Mbps

well i sometimes get fps drops wich i can't explain since I have pretty new GPU. But playing against bots works

ok so I have evrything between 20-110ms. But I think this could be fps relateted I don't even have over 100fps. 64tick

to be fair, the first one wasnt bad, and was true. the second can be explained by his age(according to profile), its possible he legit has no idea what dial up is. He wasnt alive when Al Gore invented the internet.

 

@OP your issues probably arent network related, you speeds arent great, but they should be fine for gaming, especially CSGO. likely its your processor.  what are your FULL system specs?
