is there a defrag guide in the forums you can send me to it will  be much appreciated

If you're not sure how to do it, it means you've never opened the tool which means it's probably still at default settings, which means it's doing it automatically every now and then without you even realizing it.  But just search "defrag" in the start menu and then click "optimize" on the drive in question.  Not much to it :P

so i recently disable a few apps that would turn on when start up and  and uninstalled  useless games and applications. for the first  few days it was booting up fast but then it slowed down just as before  i disable and uninstall  the applications.

i haven't installed anything nor did i do anything. i am very puzzle what happen please  help.

by the way it is a laptop asus rog gl 502 vt

specs i7 6700HQ

1tb 7200rpm

You have a mechanical hard drive. Windows will always boot slowly from a mechanical drive.

Main System: Phobos

AMD Ryzen 7 2700 (8C/16T), ASRock B450 Steel Legend, 16GB G.SKILL Aegis DDR4 3000MHz, AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB (XFX), 960GB Crucial M500, 2TB Seagate BarraCuda, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations/macOS Catalina

Secondary System: York

Intel Core i7-2600 (4C/8T), ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3, 16GB GEIL Enhance Corsa DDR3 1600MHz, Zotac GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB, 240GB ADATA Ultimate SU650, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations

Older File Server: Yet to be named

Intel Pentium 4 HT (1C/2T), Intel D865GBF, 3GB DDR 400MHz, ATI Radeon HD 4650 1GB (HIS), 80GB WD Caviar, 320GB Hitachi Deskstar, Windows XP Pro SP3, Windows Server 2003 R2

Let's go through the usual steps:
1 check for viruses/malate
2 check the health of the hard drive
3 me config - post a screen shot here, or if you are comfortable with it, unchecked things you know you don't need running. That would be the "startup" tab under msconfig

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

You should absolutely have an SSD, especially with other specs like that.  Without one this is the kind of behaviour you can expect, especially as time goes by and Windows mysteriously slows down more and more.  Booting, logging on, and generally usability will be massively worse on a HDD.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Format or reset Windows, you can also try defrag

Defragging is always a good idea but in my experience it makes little if any noticeable difference.

To defragment?  No, that's it.  To fix the problem?  I would recommend getting an SSD.  I'd rather use a Sandy Bridge i3 with an SSD than a modern i7 with a HDD, especially if both installs were a few years old.
